Set Menu Advertisement|Food Promo Design Assignment (Canva, 2025)
Project Background
This was a design assignment where we learned how to create effective promotional ads for F&B products.
The task focused on one key marketing insight:
Customers don’t buy food they can’t imagine tasting.
So my goal was to make it visually appetizing, clearly priced, and emotionally friendly.
Visual Strategy
The set includes:
~ Tonkotsu Ramen
~ Matcha Latte
~ Matcha Ice Cream
All for only RM14.90, available all day.
To make the ad effective, I applied these principles:
1. Use real, high-quality food images to trigger cravings
2. Highlight the full set visually so people feel it’s “worth it”
3. Use friendly design elements (e.g. frog mascot, soft colors) to create a warm, inviting feeling
“When people can see the food, taste it in their mind, and feel it’s worth the price — they buy.”
